Personality:
"This one a long time have I watched. All his life has he looked away…to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph. Adventure. Heh! Excitement. Heh! A Jedi craves not these things. You are reckless!" ~Master Yoda

This is a really good example of how Luke is at this point in life. This is what Yoda said to him early on and he's grown since then, but he's still his fathers son, and he's still a bit reckless, a bit of an adventure seeker, curious, always looking to the future, and generally ignored his own personal safety. In his youth he used to seek out adventure and end up in trouble all the time, but he always managed to get out of it some how, either by luck, the force, or support from those looking after him. He was often curious, impatient and had his head in the clouds. His life on Tatooine was so boring for a child of Anakin Skywalker, who too was brash, impulsive and and impatient when he was younger too.

Once he joined Obi-wan and the others, and started learning the ways of the Force, one would think he would have started to wise up a bit. Take in the lessons given to him by Obi-wan and Yoda and follow the path of the Jedi, but he was still idealistic and stopped his training to help his friends win the battle against the first Death Star. It was after his battle with Darth Vader that he lost his first lightsaber and his hand that sobered him up a bit more. That battle and the recovery after took a lot out of Luke and he started to take his training and thoughts more seriously. Wising up beyond his years. Yet even as he smartened up and learned more in the ways of the Force, he still held his idealistic nature to believe in the GOOD in people.

People like Darth Vader, his Father. Though the man was more machine than human, and Luke had been lied to by mentors who told him Darth Vader killed his father, he had learned the truth, and in that truth he felt the good in his father. He believed there was still good in him and he could be turned back to the light side of the force. Because of this Luke refuses to be needled into fighting his father for the Emperors desires. He tried his hardest to resist, taking the high ground (haha, a joke, sorry). Still, he ended up fighting in defense, cutting his fathers hand off, much like his father had done to him. When the Emperor chortled over this, encouraging Luke to turn to the dark, Luke tossed his saber to the ground and stood his ground, refusing to fight his father or the Emperor.

In the end, he he gave up fighting and stood there defenseless to the Emperor who zapped him with lightening, nearly killing him. At this point he would rather die than turn to the Dark side. Thankfully his father turned back to the Light, threw the Emperor to his death and saved his son. Luke knew the man was still in there. While Anakin lay dying, and the Rebels were almost ready to destroy the Second Death Star, Luke stayed with his father, refusing to leave him alone. Even dead, he hauled the man back to his ship and took off with him, refusing to let him die on this super weapon.

In the end he gave his father a proper send off, burning him and setting him free. He as glad to see his father standing next to Obi-wan and Yoda's ghosts. Even through the horrific events he had to endure almost completely alone, but can still smile and celebrate with the others for the end of the Emperor and the Empire, and the saving of his Father.

He is friendly and dependable. He's the type that finds the good in everyone and focuses on it. His heart is generally in the right place when he acts, wanting to help as many people as possible. His time in the Rebellion was well spent helping as many people as he could, as well as assisting Princess Leia (his sister) in her cause. Once he got off Tatooine and out into the universe, he put himself to as much good as possible.

Though there was a point in time where he wasn't sure he was actually an asset to the alliance but a hinderance. He left the fleet for a while with Artoo to try and figure himself out a bit. To try and learn who he was and what he could do. It is in these adventures that he grows up a lot. At one point, he ignores Leia's orders and runs in to brashly save slaves from cages before they're destruction, but in trying to get them to safety many of their lives were lost. That loss wore heavy on Luke for a while. A failure that broke his spirit for a while.

In these adventures, he learned more about the Jedi and more in combat, which helped his self esteem a bit, but he still felt like he wasn't helping the Alliance very well in his current state. Luke is the kind of person who has huge hopes and dreams and wants to do the best at bringing them to life. He wants to help people. All people.

Luke is the type of person to speed off and crash his X-wing into Vader's TIE Fighter just to try to take him out (before he realized there was good in him). He's the type who would willingly put himself in drastic danger to help others. Perhaps he's gotten a bit better about that now that he's ages a few years, but he's still the type to throw himself in the way other others to help them.

Luke is not beyond blackmailing (playfully) his best friend, Han Solo into letting him fly the Falcon in return for not telling Leia that Han lost money. So he has totally flown the Falcon and loved it. He would never really blackmail anyone over anything BAD, but small things like that? Totally worth it.

He's not all sunshine and tooka-cats though. He's been seen with a short fuse as well, especially when he was still trying to understand what a Jedi was or was meant to be. While trying to meditate and contact Master Yoda, the other seemed to refuse to answer. In frustration he nearly broke a window with the Force. If he couldn't contact the Jedi, how could HE become a Jedi? He's been seen frustrated at others as well, like Han Solo, while he was packing his money up and leaving the Alliance. He felt cross at his friend at the time, though Han returned to save his ass later.

He has been seen at low moments, where he was sure there was no way he could be a Jedi. Broken and down hearted so easily it tends to take his friends to help pick him up. Especially after Vader took his hand, lost his lightsaber, and his best friend. Things got hard. But there tends to be something related to his friends that always picks him up. Like Leia being in trouble caused Luke to remember how to control the Force and save her, helping uplift him once again. Luke depends a lot on his friends. They are the Force behind his control of the Force, if you asked him. He does what he does for them and for the good of others.

In short, Luke is a deadly cinnamon roll. He's friendly, good hearted, naturally caring and talented. He's more focused now than when he was younger, but he can still get frustrated or hopeless. After defeating the Emperor and the Empire falling, at his current place in time, he's on top of the universe! There is still a lot to do, but he feels like a Jedi Knight now. He feels like he could teach others at this point, and will shortly start reaching out in the Force to find others like him. To help guide and train.

But that is for another time, another era, and another story.

In a setting like Deerington, he's going to want to find a way home, for everyone. He's going to want to try to help people as best as he can. He's also going to have moments of low self esteem issues, I am sure. Knowing this place. I'm looking forward to seeing him battle with himself, with the frustrations of the older generation being here as well, and with all the people who are trapped here and can't get home. He will try his best to help everyone he can.

Abilities/Powers/Weaknesses & Warping:
Luke is a Force User of the Light Side. The Force is an energy source that surrounds us and binds us to all living things, etc, etc, etc. It's the mystical magical power of the Star Wars universe and it boils down to telekinesis powers, feeling others through that energy, and helping to push a person to be stronger, faster and better stamina.

He's learned a bit from Obi-wan and Yoda, but honestly, he's mostly stumbled through his learnings from other people, discovering old relics of the past, and self learning/trusting himself in the Force. Old Journals, holocrons and others who knew the Jedi before have helped him in training over the past few years, which is why he isn't very 'strong' as some who had full on training, and yet he is considered very strong IN the Force.

He is very good at sensing people in the Force. Especially if they are force sensitive as well. In example, he's sensed Vader from a very long distance away, or sensed and called to his sister when he was in need of help.

He is skilled in the ways of lightsaber combat, but is still learning as well. He might not be as good at this point as a fully trained Jedi, but he can handle himself in a fight pretty well. The Force guides him. At this point he's a bit of a self trained street fight level kind of combatant. You do what you have to in order to survive. Improvisation of weapons is not unheard of. Throwing a bone or rock at a Rancor is a valid tactic.

Simple Rundown:
The Force: Ability to sense living beings and such through the energy around them.

Telekinesis: The ability to life things with his mind.

Telepathy: Ability to connect to others, mind to mind. Not a strong power for him and will be Nerfed.

Mind Trick: Able to sway others with the force, to change their mind. Nerf: Only with permission of the other, and might take a bit more energy out of him.

Force Visions: Able to see events to come in flashes. Will be Nerfed.

Force Enhanced Abilities: Like running faster, jumping higher and such.

Combat Training: All learned on the fly, in actual combat or other strange events. He's not bad, and has a few tricks up his sleeve, but he will be easily impressed by people like young Obi-wan, Ahsoka or Maul.

Pilot: Like his father, he's a hell of a pilot.

Mechanic Abilities: Not the most skilled, like his father, but he's good with droids and can keep his own hand in condition.

Language: He is fluent in Galactic Basic, and understands droidspeak.

General Warping: He will feel dizzy and light headed if he uses the Force too much or does too much with it. Generally draining when it's used. Nothing a few hours of rest wont help. headaches will occur if he pushes it, and if he uses it too much in a row, nose bleeds and worse could happen. He'll learn to use it sparingly because of this.

Inventory:
-=Black attire (black tunic, black pants, black boots, belt, etc)
-=Green Lightsaber (hand made by himself!)
-=R2-D2 (He can be nerf too if he's too much.)
-=Black hooded cloak
